My journey as a dog walker began when I was just eight years old in Spain. My Spanish teacher trusted me to walk her dog, Vivi, and that’s when I first discovered how rewarding it is to care for animals and explore the outdoors together. What started as a childhood responsibility soon became a lifelong passion for understanding dogs, their needs, and their unique personalities.
I’ve grown up with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments from lively puppies to senior dogs.
One of my most memorable experiences was looking after an injured dog, Luka, a Yorkshire Terrier, who couldn’t walk long distances due to slip discs. We used a special dog buggy so he could still enjoy his daily adventures, feeling the breeze, taking in new scents, and exploring the world at his own pace. Watching his tail wag from the buggy and barking when he wanted out, showed me that every dog deserves the chance to enjoy the outdoors, no matter their limitations.
I also had the pleasure of caring for a very young puppy called Bobby, a lively little Papillon who stayed with us for three months before moving to a family member in Ireland.
Bobby loved to test boundaries, he couldn’t resist chewing on wires or tugging at socks (especially the ones still on our feet!). With plenty of patience and consistency, we worked on simple training techniques, helping him learn to sit politely for a treat and develop good habits from an early age.
The hardest part was saying goodbye. We cried all the way back on the ferry after leaving him with my aunt, but the lovely thing is that he hasn’t forgotten us when we visit.

Solo Walks
At Hadley Paws, we offer one-to-one attention ideal for shy, elderly, recovering or simply high-energy dogs requiring focused care.
We offer customised routes, pace and duration to suit your dog's needs.

Group Walks
Hadley Paws caters for group walks (no more than 3 per walk) perfect for dogs who enjoy socialising and meeting new friends.
These walks are carefully managed to ensure that your dog has a good experience in a safe and social enviornment.
Assisted Walks
For dogs with mobility needs as well as senior dogs and those recovering from injuries or surgeries, we have a dog buggy which allows your dog to enjoy the outdoors. These dogs would be able to walk a short distance, allowing them to take in new scents and do their business.
Home Visits
This service is ideal for those busy owners who need someone to drop in, care for, play with or assist with medical needs.
Doggy Daycare

Pick Up/Drop Off Services
We are happy to accompany your pet to vet, grooming or training appointments as required.
(p.s. we won't be transporting them in a wheelbarrow!)
